We reached out to Ashrafun to see what had taken place since her visit to Vienna, February 2019 where she attended the Zero Project Conference and received the Her Abilities Award. Ashrafun was busy conducting important work related to disability issues after her visit to the Austrian capital.
Women with Disabilities Development Foundation (WDDF), Ashrafun’s organization, had an annual general meeting and a national gathering of the general members of the organization and they held an election of executive council members.
Ashrafun will join two other international programs: the Commission on Status of Women (CSW) and the CREA conference. She will also conduct a national dialogue on “access to justice of women and girls with disabilities and roles different institutions and Media. ”
