Farida Bedwei

Software Engineer/Disabilities Rights Advocate/Author
-Ghana-

Growing up with a disability, it would have
been great to see successful women with
similar conditions in the limelight so we’d have
role models to look up to. The Her Abilities
award showcases the achievements of women
from all walks of life, who have managed to
succeed in their chosen fields despite having a
reason not to, and I am honored to be on the
jury panel.
